1300 Upright Resistance Bike Magnetic Stamina line

Stamina 1300. The bike is as advertised. Easy to put together and stable to “ride”.

Only drawback so far, is the seat. The seat angle could/should be adjustable – but it’s not. Also the seat is very low end, hard/not comfortable. Will be looking for another seat or gel type pad/cover soon. Overall though, good value for the $$.

Stamina 1300. This bike is perfect for someone like me who needs a low impact workout. I lost 8 pounds in the first two weeks. Assembly was pretty much self explanatory. The only glitch was difficulty attaching the tension cable end to the bracket and spring hook, but someone more mechanically inclined should have no problem with assembly. After assembly, the bike worked fine, but the LED display stopped functioning, so it may be necessary to unattach the meter to jiggle the connection wire from time to time. The seat feels very hard after about 15 minutes of workout, so I recommend a gel seat cushion. Make sure the cushion’s dimensions are in the 13″ x 15″ range to ensure a proper fit. Other than these minor inconveniences, the Stamina 1300 Magnetic Resistance Upright Bike is a very nice addition to anyone’s exercie regimen.

Good bike for the money. The bike was easy to assemble up to a point. I’m glad that my son was there to finish the assembly, because I wouldn’t have understood the directions after a certain point. However, once assembled, the bike proved easy to use, quiet, and sturdy. It took a while to get used to how hard the seat is. However, I might purchase a softer seat at some time.
