We also have a Prius. This has worked perfectly for us. We store it in the compartment between the seats along w/ the cord. No complaints. Sturdy.

Digital cables either work or they don’t. Don’t get suckered into buying high priced cables thinking they will work better. This cable does an excellent job and transfers all data very well, sound and picture.

Best Buy sells their HDMI cables for $57.00 a piece. I got TWO cables for only $6.00 from Amazon. You do the math!
The cables are constructed very well and they work great! Only uneducated buyers would pay outrageous prices for an HDMI cable when they all do the exact same thing. I did my research and saved a ton of money!

mine arrived in a box of good condition taped well etc… very timely which would be a plus. But when I opened and was putting it together I realised a few parts or attachments were missing, but could work around that problem or thought. There were cracks in the tanks and bottom we didn’t notice till it was on and water was coming out everywhere then the nice burning smell was all it took for me to fear the worse. I think someone ordered this it got sent back to factory in worse condition then they intial got it in and didn’t send all the parts back. so I had to have professional come and clean the water the towels didn’t soak up on xmas eve and my kids were afraid to turn on or touch anything afraid it would smell of fire n smoke later too

A disturbing horror film which has joined the ranks of ‘cult classics’. This movie seems to get better with each viewing, probably due to the fine performances turned in by mostly Irish actors who worked for mere peanuts to be involved with this Coppola/Corman production.

Luana Anders is nothing short of superb. William Cambell is also excellent, and as ‘DVD special features’ commentary goes, his is far more entertaining and informative than most.

This would rate as a 5-star if it weren’t for the less than spectacular image transfer, and perhaps for the fact that the story itself falls slightly short. But don’t let that dissuade you – this movie deserves a place in any film buffs collection for a myriad of other reasons. For example, the underwater shots are sharp and creative – then in the commentary section we learn that due to budget constraints Coppola designed his own underwater camera housed in wood and tar!

Finally, this is still one of the scariest pictures I’ve ever seen. That alone is reason enough for horror fans to pick this one up. Not for the faint of heart, however.

I love my iTouch. I’m learning new things about it and with it every day! Typing things on it can be a challenge if you have larger fingers, but otherwise, it is very easy to use.

456 Classic Southern Comedian

I struggled with this book from the very first pages because of the horrible mis-handling of Southern African-American vernacular. My next struggle was with editorial lapses such as proper placement of cultural and historical references, but overall, I get the book and its intention to show the common humanity of the characters, but I felt offended by an author who didn’t or couldn’t create 3-dimensional characters as I understand them.

It surprised me that this book made it to the bestseller list. To me, it seemed weak in its character and story development. I think though that readers who rated this book highly are typically people looking to understand a culture or viewpoint with which they are unfamiliar and this book made that culture/viewpoint accessible even if it’s not a depiction that rings true to those of us who come out of the culture.

Further on the topic of vernacular, I found it noteworthy that only the Black characters in the book spoke in a vernacular even though various Southern dialects are well known and widely used in literature of and about the South. The way that language was used just made me cringe. ‘Law’, please save me from an author who seems to have stumbled upon two or three elements of speech and then repeated them ad naseaum.

I did not enjoy reading this book and I definitely did not feel that it was a fully dimensional charcterization of African American domestic workers but I appreciate that it creates the opportunity for dialogue.

I purchased this Steam Vac based on reviews from Amazon. My household consists of 3 pets (beagle, 2 cats) and a slightly messy husband. We’ve lived in our home for 2 years and the carpet that was brand new when we purchased the home was becoming very worn in high traffic areas and spotted with various animal stains (I spot treated them all upon occurance but we all know how stubborn these can be). We used the Steam Vac for the first time last night and I admit i was skeptical. We started with the hard stuff, I wanted to see how it worked on the high traffic areas and animal stains first. IT REALLY WORKS! Seriously! It went over the stain and it was like a TV commercial..poof! The stain is gone! The matted high traffic areas are noticeably fluffier, not like brand new but a total 100% improvement over the original matted condition.

The Vac itself is very easy to use. The instructions are simple to understand, the appliance is solid not flimsy and the attachments are easy on and off. Also notable- My husband and I were both extremely impressed with the dry time! We didn’t feel ’shut out’ of any of our rooms for more than 30 minutes because of the speedy dry. Excellent! We have a 3 story townhome so there were plenty of stairs to Steam Vac. The attachments come with a great extendable ‘arm’ that had more than enough stretch for our tall staircases. We were able to park the Vac on a landing and the arm reached all the way up the stairs and around the corner comfortably without strain.

The bottle of cleaning solution that was included covered about 1300 sq ft of carpet. Lasted longer than I thought it would!

The one thing we haven’t tried yet is the vac on our upholstery, which we are going to try very soon. Overall I give this Steam Vac an A+. Amazon shipped quickly so we got it in a matter of days. Great buy, completely satisfied, highly recommended for households with pets!
Pocket book on tray

My groomer showed me this while I was visiting her shop. I immediately came home and ordered one. It is fantastic and really helps me with the battle of the hair. I have two lab mixes and they both love to get their daily ‘comb’. I have recommended this to two of my co-workers who are also new owners to dogs that shed.
