24oz Apricots Glazed Australian and me

This is the best money I have ever spent! The battery lasts for days and it has every option possible and it looks big but its not! The smaller watches don’t do as many functions as this watch! It was shockingly very easy to use and I don’t know how I ever ran without it.

Today about Gibraltar 16×1 1401×5 3

The Hoover F5914-900 appears to be near the top of its class of consumer-level carpet cleaners both in terms of cleaning and value. It has been used a number of times and the cleaning performance is quite good as others have reported. We expect it to last a several years of typical household use. While the overall construction seems durable, there are some plastic parts that are thin enough to be worrisome.

General operation is somewhat easier than other brands we have used and this unit cleans longer per fill of clean water. Extraction is excellent, especially if a second pass is made. It leaves the carpet damp, but not wet. Obvious spots and stains should be pretreated as with any other cleaner.

Of course, no steam is actually generated or used by this “SteamVac” unit. The temperature of the water is only as hot as you make it.

I’m disappointed in this scale. Confused by its fluctuating readings, I called the company. I was informed that the scale should not be moved once it is placed on the floor. That was tough, since we have a very small bathroom and it was stored under the sink.

Me: “Do you mean it will give a wrong reading the first time, every time it is moved?”
Company: “Yes.”

He then went on to assure me that all digital scales are like that.

I removed the bathroom hamper and gave the scale its own corner. Of course, I may not notice if it is moved by someone else, so I never trust the first reading now.

Bear in mind, “fluctuating readings” to me mean a difference of less than one pound. I noted that Consumer Reports in its February 2010 issue identifies scales as accurate if they are correct within one pound. So perhaps my expectations are too high. But nearly every morning since that call about a week ago, it will give me different readings within a few moments of each other. And to me, .4 is a big deal This morning I got on the scale, and it showed exactly the same weight (to the decimal point) as it did the day before, and the day before. I grabbed a large bottle of lotion, and got the same exact weight weighing *with* a pound of lotion in my hand. I removed the scale battery (to reset it), and set the scale down, disregarding the initial “wrong” reading, which was the same as the first one of the morning. Then I picked up the lotion, and it noted a pound gain. Good. Then I weighed without holding anything, and it showed my weight as .4 above the initial weight. Then I weighed again, and it showed the initial weight again. In between each weighing, I waited until the scale went dark.

All that being said, I’m sure it is accurate to within a pound, but if I wanted that, I could have stuck to my old scale. I’m not sure what the point of a digital scale with .10 readings is if it isn’t to track smaller weight changes.

Mad about Notebook AC NEW Laptop

I got my kindle from my parents on Christmas. My first (notice I said FIRST) one was the regular sized one that most people have, not the humongous ones for like 500 dollars. I loved my kindle. I read so many books on that thing. I put it on my nightstand one night and slept.

Next morning, half of my screen saver was stuck (the bottom half) and the top half I could read. Now, as all book lovers know, you LIKE the bottom half of your book. I showed it to my father, and he got me a new one. I have had THIS kindle for about 4 weeks, and my dog got to it.

My kindle is perfectly fine except for these exceptions:
1. Part of the screen, say, an inch x inch, is white.
2. My kindle screen is darker, and I have to slightly strain my eyes to read.
3. There is a black mark covering where the battery is, so I wouldn’t know if my kindle is dying.

I JUST got this kindle! I told my father and he says “Okay”. I’m really angry, yet I love my kindle.
No treats for my dog tonight.

The Spinervals Original Indoor suck

Water for Elephants has it all- adventure, drama, romance, history, and the circus! What more can you ask? Seriously, read this book.

Collection The 3 Salesian result

I started out really enjoying this book but about halfway through I realized it wasn’t going anywhere believable. The characters never develop into anything other than one-dimensional, there is no realistic conflict, just black or white (both literally and figuratively). The pie incident is beyond ridiculous. And if so few copies of Skeeter’s book were printed, why did they seem to all end up in this one town, the last place you’d want to have it widely promoted? There seemed to be no editing process with Skeeter’s book either, which is also ridiculous. The first draft was it! And on top of that she gets a job in New York! The men and women in my book club would laugh me out of the group for suggesting a book like this. But that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy the first half. Maybe better things are coming from this writer.

Fleer 1982 88 # and me

Nice to see MS offer a package for Home and Student. This makes it affordable (3 licenses per copy) and will tie more users to MS products.

Interesting note: Received MS Office 2010 Beta the same day as 2007 arrived. A touch more improvement.

Smart Hand Stick Cuisinart problem!

This has been a boost to my training program . I have a great running group that sends a map of the course to be run each week that can be simply downloaded on to my fore runner 305 so I can focus on running not the street I need to turn on . Plus trail running is my fav. and after the run it is fun to look at my course and speed and distance which when you just run random trails was hard to calculate before.
