I wanted to view BluRay and Streaming Media Internet output from my HP DV7 laptop on our Toshiba 1080i HDTV. HDMI cables in local stores were outrageously priced, and I didn’t want to enlarge the image THAT badly! But, based on positive reviews for this cable on Amazon, I opted to try this one, and I am not at all disappointed. It arrived very quickly, is well made, and not expensively packaged (that’s a good thing – who needs to pay for fancy packaging that’s a pain to open)? Most importantly, it works perfectly, with image and audio coming through with no discernible signal loss. Highly recommended.

As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked. If someone hadn’t recommended it to me I probably wouldn’t have read it (I’m not really interested in circuses). However, I thoroughly enjoyed reading about a depression-era circus and about what happens behind the scenes. Very fascinating as many things in this book are from true stories. Written very vividly, I could picture each person clearly as well as everything that was happening. I totally recommend it!!!

Price 5 stars. It’s a bit flimsy, especialy the hose. the belt broke after three uses, replaced it and now running fine. Overall for the price, it’s a pretty good vacuum for those on a tight budget.

This carpet cleaner does a good job. It is ironic though that it is called a “steam” cleaner and there is no mention of using hot water in the manual and the unit does not heat the water to make steam. So, I used water I had heated to a boil and did not use any soap at all. This did a great job and dried quickly.

I have been purchasing books from Amazon.com since they first opened for business. It has been fun watching them grow and prosper. They couldn’t have done that if they didn’t provide good service and products. I will continue to purchase from them.

The book I purchased was Conversations With God #1. I have already read this book and the others in the series over and over. I purchase it again from time to time to give to someone else. It is an important book.

Unfortunately, I bought this book based on the rave reviews I was hearing from friends and associates. I couldn’t make it through the first chapter before I was forced to stop torturing myself. While I am an avid reader and will usually finish anything once I start reading, good or bad, the ’so called’ dialect used in The Help was painful. It was so far off the mark that it became the focal point of my experience and the story was lost. I know there may have been a struggle with Southern ‘black’ dialect but asking for help is not a crime. I am sure someone should have caught these errors before it went to the printing stage so the fault is not entirely the authors but she is surely at fault. Without reading the book I would question how accurate and ‘on-the-mark’ she would be on the maids perspective. After all if she chose not to research the dialect or use of language from southern blacks in the 60s it’s possible she was lazy in other areas as well. Again, I will never know and if anyone wants a slightly ‘used’ copy of The Help let me know before it becomes an altered book of art.

Even with Beckett clearly the leader in the monthly hobby price guide, I found that Tuff Stuff simply has “MORE.” More articles, more insider info, more items reviewed, etc. They just simply aren’t as up to date with the pricing as Beckett is, but hey, who cares?
A card is only worth as much as somebody else is willing to pay for it. And NOBODY pays “book value” for anything. Sometimes it’s more if a player is hot (Chipper Jones close to .400 BA) or has just died (Sorry??). Sometimes it’s less if they are in a slump (Barry Zito?) or are being blasted for steroids (Barry Bonds?).
I haven’t had a subscription to TS in a few years but have picked up the occasional mag on the newsstand. At $15 for the year though, I had to jump on it.
Tuff Stuffs Sports Collectors

I’m very pleased with this product. After having non-digital scales in the past that never seemed to give consistent weights, I can say I’ve finally found a scale that gives accurate, repeatable weights. It is durable enough to handle my 2-year old messing with it, and fits so nicely in our tiny bathroom. Excellent product!

IQAir Pre Filter Replacement

Researched a lot of scales. I have bought several scales but so far this was the easiest to setup, the easiest to see, and the most constantly accurate in weight. I was concerned as to whether I would be able to view the results since my eye sight is not what it used to be, but I need not have worried, it was excellent with the bluish backlight and large area and no nonsense display. I very much like these scales!
