I received a bad device and it had to be returned. Apple did replace it and I really hope that this one works okay. I have only had it back for 1 day now. Well let’s see what happens now.

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger is just about the best book I have ever read. From the very begginning of the book until the very last words, I could connect with this mysterious character Salinger created. Although Holden was quite hard to figure out, he stil had a very strong sense of humor. With a smart-alec tone to his thoughts you gradually find out his past and his present. In the entire book you embark on a journey to uncover Holden’s true self. In Holden’s mind you go through the same typical midlife crisis a teen would. This was a very good book and deserves a spot on the bookshelf next to the Harry Potter series. I advise anyone of any age to read this book and think whats beyond the words. People have interpreted this in so many ways and theres no entirely correct way. Great Job, Salinger.

I ordered a couple of these HDMI cables from Eforcity for $2.72 each(two-dot-seven-two) with free shipping.

I connected my blu-ray player to my TV using these cables and played a DVD and there is no complaint regarding quality.
I have yet to play any actual blu-ray disc to compare the quality.

The 6 foot cable is handy.

HDMI prices are going down everyday. I see its currently on sale for $2.52. grab them while you can!

I was truly skeptical until I received the Hoover Tempo Widepath by mail (received an email to advise purchase would come by mail unable to deliver at address – still do not understand this – UPS & FEDEX come to property….anyway I received it in less that a week!). The first thing I did was put the handle on and remove a few pieces of tape and placed the exterior parts in their appropriate spaces – then turned it on….whoa! I was ‘in love’ with an inanimate object! The best vacum cleaner I have ever purchased including 2 other more expensive Hoovers plus a Richoe that cost over $350. I have two dogs that both shed, bare wood floors, marble, high and low carpet – it sucked like a champ! Thank you Amazon – you represented yourself well with this product and your online services for purchasing – I bought a package of bags and belts along with the vacum and all came together. Also, I thought after receiving the belts that I had purchased the wrong ones – called the vendor – left a message and received a call back with instructions for return/exchange of the belts within in 24 hours. Turned out the belts sent to me were correct and all is well…..thanks again and again!

i am not a APPLE fan but must admit this is a great email device.
the number of free apps is just out of this world. As a music player it is alright but there are smaller and easier ones out there.
i do not regret buying this for my personal use and no phone or contract to use it.
great – great buy.
and of course amazon is the best place to buy………….

Democracy and Education An

I can’t believe how much is packed into this iPod! I couldn’t be happier. If I didn’t use it, I wouldn’t believe it. It does everything. I use a very inexpensive tape to convert my iPod to a dynamic sound system in my car. I put it on shuffle and it plays all my favorite songs. I put it in my Bose speaker system at home and I have a fantastic home music system. The Apps are way too much fun. And I am 63 years of age! Inside I feel about 40. The only thing I wish were better are the WiFi connections. I have it at home, but after that I am still trying to figure it out. Still it is a tiny wonder!

This was a really good, enjoyable, authentic, endearing book. Thoroughly enjoyable read. One of a kind, leaves you wanting more of the circus on the rails of the depression era. I also love first-person novels that stay on plot and Gruen doesn’t disappoint there.

I TOTALLY disagree with another reviewer who said Gruen over-anthropomophized and over-romanticized the animals in the story! Hardly. If anything, if Jacob is a vet, we read very little of him doing his job in context of the story. And anyone who’s around animals or has worked with animals can hardly fail to form emotional attachments to them.

When I finished WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, I like I felt when I finished reading FRIED GREEN TOMATOES AT THE WHISTLE STOP CAFE and SEABISCUIT.

I thought it was ok, like other reviews said. For a free book (buy 3 or 4 of under $10 books, get one free), I can live with it. And some of the stories are head-shakers (”I can’t believe this.”). But if I had paid $10 out-of-pocket for it, I would be annoyed. Some of the stories are pretty cute; actually got a smile out of me. But I agree that the writing in 1st person from the POV of the dog can be pretty annoying.
