I liked this book. One reason is that there is a ton of high-tech things that the fairies use. Another is that the fairies are different from the creatures you read about in fairy tales. Also it was funny at times as well. The centaur named Foaly had a pretty good sense of humor at most times. It also had a lot of action in it as well.
There were, however, also a few things I did not like. One was people’s language at times, like that one commander who said, “Blow the door off its **** hinges.” There were a few other times people swore too. That was almost about the only thing I did not like about the book though.
In this book I did not really have a favorite part. I liked just about all of them. Altogether, it was a very good book.

I love that the Garmin 305 tells me how far i have runned, my pace and time. It does have a heart monitor which I have used but the numbers are soooo small even with reading glasses (which I do not wear while running) I have a hard time reading.
It is larger in size but the features make up for it. Easy to charge, still finding out all the other features. It’s doing everything I need it to do for now!

An excellently written and very interesting story which actually does have an unexpected ending!

However, there is a great deal of violence, sexual violence and sadistic behavior in general.

I wish that this excellent writer could write a book for adults which wouldn’t call for reading so much trashy stuff. I’m a great believer in “garbage in, garbage out” and wish that my recollectons of this otherwise terrific book didn’t include the above trash, and/or large sections which I skipped just because I didn’t want to put such stuff into my poor brain to remember! This was such a wonderful story that I feel badly that I find it necessary to warn about the trashy side of it.
Me Myself And Who

In the almost-five years since I first read this book, my readerly worldview has shifted drastically. Twilight wasn’t wholly responsible for that change, but it was a catalyst. I once thought this book was RealRealGood, as in “read it multiple times, then loan it out to your five best friends” good (and my friends loaned it to other friends..no telling how many sets of eye-tracks are on my worn out copy). Now, I have a metric ton of problems with Twilight, though I still find it entertaining.

Appealing romantic elements: Love stories serve up an enjoyable, vicarious slice of somebody’s happily ever after, and Twilight is extra-loved because it is almost purely a romance–seriously, the plot and action in the first book feel like they were added at the last minute, like the sprinkle cheese on a casserole. (Note: In the next two books, we get a lot more plot and forward momentum, and a lot less people-sitting-around-falling-in-love, which is a more desirable ratio, IMO) It’s wish fulfillment, but not necessarily in a bad sense. In a certain fashion, love stories are an encouragement, because in real life, a girl fancies a guy and wonders if he likes her back, and in a YA novel the answer is invariably a big “YES”. There’s something comforting about that level of assurance, and it’s not ridiculous to get warm, fuzzy feelings when reading love stories.

However….(Unappealing romantic elements)

Why the love? Bella and Edward’s love story is problematic. I’m going to skip over any co-dependency or emotional abuse issues, and go straight to my big problem with them: I don’t know why they love each other. Sure, “love” is hard to define, but when the characters say they love each other so soon and so emphatically after they meet, it makes one question how they formed such a strong attachment so quickly. After seeing so many good reviews I figured it was a good deal for the price. I just received it today and it doesn’t work. I followed the start up steps in the manual exactly and all it does every time is read 0.0 then the C shows up and everything it is used it shows 0.0. I have replaced the batteries hoping to reset it and still nothing different. I will be returning this. I am very disappointed.

Within just a couple hours of my original posting about it not working I was contacted by William Geronimo the Vice President of HealthTools seeking to correct the situation. He even knew by my review that one of the sensors had gone bad, which I know happens with electronics with no fault to anyone. He immediately offered to ship me out a replacement without even wanting me to return the faulty one. I just received the new one and it works 100%.

I am very impressed by the treatment and the lengths Mr. Geronimo took to correct the situation and I highly recommend purchasing from them.

This series was one that was always on my recommended list and for ages I set it to the side and read on with other authors, content that I wasn’t missing much. After seeing it for sale for a few dollars in a bargain bin at the book store I picked it up thinking that even for a few dollars it can’t be that bad. I regret now that I didn’t pick this series up as soon as it came out! The wit and humor of this story and its fellow’s blew me away and becoming close to the characters is unavoidable. Mr. Colfer creates a world full of mystery, intrigue, danger, excitement, humor, love and companionship. I would have paid much, much more for this book had I known what I was missing. I highly advise anyone looking for a great read and a wonderful story to pick up this series and make time to read it cause you won’t be able to put it down.

Wii game is lots of fun and exercise. It is very challenging.
Some of the games can be purchased for a lot less on E-bay if
you like bidding on things like in an auction. Be careful not to spend too much money on games like me. I got carried away and purchased about 25 games.
Many games are very difficult. This may cause frustration if you don’t have patience. Some games seem difficult until you figure out how to use the controls properly. Some don’t respond like they should.
Wii Winter sports skiing was a disaster. Maybe I need practice.
For exercise that brings fun into a work out, buy a Wii.
Many sports , Boxing, Baseball, bowling, Basketball, football. All good exercise that will get your heart pumping.
I got a good deal from Amazon.com for the Wii console. About $175.00 plus tax.
A better deal than I could get on e-bay.
When I first got the Wii, I was excited. Now I’m less excited because of the game difficulties. But I expect to use the Wii for exercise most of my life.

Found this one and the next higher model on CR (featured as a best buy). It was hard to justify paying double for a headlight, HEPA filter, and bag-full indicator, so we went with this one. We’re very glad we did, as all the positive reviews are justified. It’s simple, not too loud, and picks up dirt very well on both carpet and tile.
