This book was ok… a little hard to follow at times, as it went on and on. Would have like to ask more questions of why this or that.

Dean Tyler Soft Touch

The deeper I got into this book, the better it got. There were a few moments that is got a little “deep” for me, but it turned out to be a very practical book, with great ideas on communicating to today’s culture. I liked the author’s views on how the church should not “run” from pop-culture, but rather embrace it and use it as an opporunity to reach people. I think this book would be a great read for any pastor or church leader in the midst of transition towards reaching unchurched people.
Preaching to a Postmodern

So many readers saying they couldn’t put this book down makes me wonder what is the matter with me. I put it down very easily, mostly because it put me to sleep! The dialect was a bit amusing at first but quickly because very annoying. I spent two weeks trying to get through this story and only made it through half of the book. I finally skimmed to the end and really didn’t care how it ended. An absolute waste of time!!
Cook Like a Peasant

Easy to use, and gets great result. It not only cleaned the carpet, but the renewed it. The carpet is more plush and very soft to walk on. The carpet does not get wet a lot if you do it right, further, the ’spill pickup’ functionality is just great. I accidentally spill the water on the carpet and this m/c sucked it right out, leaving the carpet very dry.

However, there is a trick to this, it is absolutely essential that you ensure that all the pieces of the puzzle put together, before you start cleaning. It will take you a while to understand the right way to use this m/c.
Important note : Make sure that you can see the water being sucked in once you start vacuuming, otherwise your carpet will be horribly wet. If you don’t see water being sucked, means that there is some problem with your assembly. Either the water tank has not fit correctly, or the chamber that accumulates dirty water is not tight enough.

I ordered it, but haven’t received it, yet. I have 2000, 2002, 2003 on various computers, and like them all.

This card is fast and so far no problems. Using it in my Canon T1I dSLR camera. When shooting HD movie’s you need to move a lot of data fast to avoid skips and pauses in action. I will never buy another SDHC card that is not Class 6 or above. You will find deals on Class 2 and Class 4 cards… and they may suffice for your needs. But I don’t want to bottleneck my pictures or video because I wanted to save $5 on the card. I also have a 8 gig Class 6 Transcend SDHC card and so far have had no problems.

I did some research on the available products. There was another model rated higher on consumer reports by the professionals but it was 100$ more. And it looked like the biggest difference was noise between the 2 models. OK…I’ll put in my earbuds and listen to music.

Having cleaned my atrocious carpet once already I will say this, I was totally amazed. It took repeated cleaning but I got it cleaner than I ever imaged I could! I couldn’t be happier.

Looking at the reviews on Consumer reports from people who bought this product over the higher rated product it was a near tie and again the price difference helped make my decision. I was ok paying more but I couldn’t find a compelling reason in the things I read that made a compelling case to do it.

My only concern is longevity, I bought the 3yr warranty so, I willhave a functional unit for at leastr that long. And let’s face it, the machine pays for itself after about 4-5 uses (if you rent).

He learns the ins and outs of circus life, falls in love with a beautiful horse rider and becomes attached to Rosie, the elephant who responds to Polish commands.
Dog Gift Basket

I was always curious about this book. I have heard of it for as long as I can remember. I have seen many referencs made to it. And I know there was a relationship with this book tied to Mark David Chapman, the assasin of John Lennon.

What I don’t understand is what the big deal is about it. It is well written and very discriptive but ultimately seems pointless. It follows a few days in the life of a student expelled from his school and doesn’t really go anywhere or make any point. I am not a big reader of fiction so maybe I’m missing something here.

All I can say is if you have been one, like myself who has always been curious about “The Catcher and the Rye”, don’t waste your time.

Yep, for $75 it cleans my whole place and does a darn good job of it too. Hardwood floors and thick carpeting … no problem. Purchased based on other reviewers. Everybody else was absolutely right. This is one heck of a deal on a very good vacuum. I did have a bit of a hard time installing two of the screws (it comes partly disassembled and it will take 15 minutes or so to initially assemble), which appear to be mis-sized. I’m sure I’m just missing something and will take a closer look when I get a chance. For now it’s working great though.
