I felt I deserved a medal after sitting through this horrible movie. Think of every cliche you could ever think of and you could have written this movie yourself. Apparently, a nuclear war has taken place and Americans have taken to living in small communities while one man attempts to terrorize these villages with his band of renegades. But who comes along to save the day? Kevin Costner! We see Kevin bathed in firelight, we see Kevin riding horseback with the sun on his face, we see Kevin, well we just basically see too much of Kevin. He’s a rebel you see…he just wants to be left alone but ultimately he has to do the right thing. Oh please! I would not recommend this movie to anyone.
The Postman Region 2

Seemed like a decent product. Installed but received Windows messages that this was not a USB 2.0 hub/device when my USB keyboard/mouse were plugged in (note that if I plugged them in directly or into another hub I did not receive this message). May not have been an issue except I really purchased this to run a USB Video Card through for a 3rd monitor and needed 2.0.

As far as directorial debuts go, Dementia 13 packs a wallop, and understanding the circumstances around which it was filmed (in spare time around a Corman flick) makes it even better. The story of a sick family ritual memorializing the drowning of a little girl and the mad axe murderer chop, chop, chopping along is effectively eerie, and quite bloody for its day. Hell, there’s an actual decapitation shown for cryin’ out loud, and the film was made in the early 1960’s! As far as suspense goes there really isn’t much there, figuring out who the killer is won’t tax any brain cells but all in all it’s good fun nonetheless, with some pretty good performances and some damn fine direction. A must see for serious Horror fans, but not for everyone.
Fright Night 2 Dementia

I loved this immersion blender until the plastic casing on the immersion blender cracked after only the 3rd time using it. I was making carrot-pumpkin soup and needed to puree the carrots, and did not want to haul out my blender. This was a perfect use for the immersion blender. I’ve used it before twice on other soups, so I know that I didn’t over-use its capacity. My soup turned out wonderfully, but after I rinsed the detachable wand, I noticed soupy-water still trapped inside and saw the 2-inch long crack.

I’m disappointed in this product, because I loved the ease of use and clean-up. I’m not sure if I’ll keep this and use the other attachments, but now I need to get another immersion blender.

I have bought many of these drives – probably 20 or so over the last 18 months, mostly the USB/eSATA variant but some Firewire as well. I don’t understand the highly negative reviews. As I see it this is as good as most any major alternative whilst being compact and easily stacked. Under sometimes very intensive usage I have had only one actual failure which was for a substantial fall whilst operating which I would not have expected any drive to survive. I simply opened up the case with that failed drive and reused it with a new OEM disk. These kinds of add-on drive are now a generic product, purchased on price primarily and style to some extent. This particular drive is in my experience perfectly reliable and when the price dips from time to time (as it does) I buy more. My primary concern with it is the lack of a 2Tb version and ideally Firewire 800. The Firewire version is slightly longer than the USB/eSATA version but stacks with it fine. I see no particular problems with this product in my fairly extensive experience of it and of its competition.

Yep, for $75 it cleans my whole place and does a darn good job of it too. Hardwood floors and thick carpeting … no problem. Purchased based on other reviewers. Everybody else was absolutely right. This is one heck of a deal on a very good vacuum. I did have a bit of a hard time installing two of the screws (it comes partly disassembled and it will take 15 minutes or so to initially assemble), which appear to be mis-sized. I’m sure I’m just missing something and will take a closer look when I get a chance. For now it’s working great though.

I was able to put this together by myself — amazing! I have used it several times now and it is easy to use and does a great job. It sucks most of the water up so that the carpet dries really fast. I would recommend it!
The First Years 2

I am appalled and shocked by this book. There’s something clearly wrong here if this man claims to be sharing with us what God thinks, because according to Walsch, most of what God thinks is clearly opposite of what the Bible says. This author is using God’s name to tell people to feel good about yourself and do whatever you want. That is NOT the attitude of our loving, but just God. If you really want to know what God thinks buy His bestseller – the Bible!
