The WII is a great system to play party type games on. Most games that are for the WII are geared towards kids/teens, while xbox/ps3 dominates in the shooter market. I don’t think the WII will ever have a strong shooter following like ‘Call of Duty: modern warfare’. There is a sizable amount of workout games that are pretty fun for the WII. If you have kids, your kids will love you that much more for buying them a WII.

Haven’t had any problems with this scale, as of yet. I have been looking for a decent scale that gives the same result if you step off and back on. Most scales in the past would give a different reading, but this scale gives the exact result again. Very happy with it!

I LOVE this vacuum. I don’t have to do a second pass on my carpet because it picks up hair, lint and whatnot so well. It’s not quiet but it’s not noisy. And as far as I can tell after 6 months of owning it, it’s very durable. For about a month, I used the vacuum everyday and it hasn’t broken down at all. The vacuum bag is easy to install and remove. The cord length is perfect for vacuuming a large bedroom size or a long hallway without having to replug into another outlet. It doesn’t weigh much and is . The handle is at a good height for me even though I am 5′1″. I use it on both carpet and kitchen floors. The handle releases very easily.

Two things that slightly bother me but I can live without: the cord wraps on top of the suction attachment so I have to undo the cord to take out the end of the suction; and the smallest suction attachment (short brush) keeps falling off of its snap in holder because the cord runs right behind it. Overall, this is a great vacuum and I chose it because it’s inexpensive and had high ratings on Consumer Reports and [...].

This definitely deserves a 5 star rating for its accuracy! The response is fairly quick (about 2 seconds) and love the modern look. Usually when you buy a product like this, there are no batteries included but EatSmart Scale come with batteries! I wish the scale used AA but since the AAA batteries are included and it would probably last a long time, it’s all good. Very easy to setup and packaging was great. It’s a great deal for the price!

Loved this book. It was a great travel companion while on a plane ride and dealing with layovers. I was engrossed from the start and loved the characters which seemed so very real. Highly recommend.

You will be glad you read this book before the movie, even if the movie is true to it in detail. Few movies do their masterpiece books justice, and this book is a masterpiece.

Just an absolutely superb product!

I bought mine from Amazon.com, and it arrived in record-breaking speed, packaged extremely well.

Regarding the watch unit itself, I did research for a very long time on all the models that are currently available in the United States, from pretty much all of the manufacturers, not just Garmin. My search included a price-point from $69 up to $650.

I could say many things, but in the end, I just want to say if you are on the fence, go ahead and get the 305. You definitely will not regret it!

I love this product!

Pros:

1. I find the slightly larger size of the face to be PERFECT FOR READING WHILE RUNNING. Any smaller and I might not be able to comfortably read the screen.
2. The heart rate monitor is actually very comfortable, as is the watch itself.
3. I liked how quickly and easily the heart rate monitor synced with the wrist unit. I basically put the HRM strap on, and turned on the watch, and it synced.
4. The data interfaces seamlessly with Google Maps- even on Windows 7 64 bit. You just select from a “drop down” menu, “View in Google Maps”, and then Google Maps opens up with your data plotted right on the screen. You can hover your mouse over the waypoints (updates every 1 second), and view what your time, distance, heart rate, and pace was.
5. EXTREMELY simple to get started with the basic features, and be working out in minutes (except for one thing, which I’ll mention below- which is barely a “con”, but it should be said).
6. I got a GPS fix on the 305 in about 25 seconds right out of the box. That is faster than my $300 automobile GPS unit.

Cons:
1. Needs to be charged for 3 hours out of the box when it first arrives! GAAHHHH! I wanted to just strap it on and go running, but I had to wait. I know, this isn’t really a complaint, but I can’t think of any negative things to say about this thing.

We own this Furminator as well as a wannabe competitive version. You’d think it wasn’t rocket science to come up with a basic fabricated metal design to collect hair, but for some reason the Furminator blade works so much better at collecting the fur vs the competition. Maybe they have a patent on the specific subtle shape or something, but I am amazed at the difference in performance between the two.

I liked much of this novel but can’t say it is a great book. The main problem is that the author never found a consistent tone for the novel. I call this the “reverse Irving” effect. John Irving is a master at underscoring the ultimate horror in his novels by initially setting a very humorous tone and then suddenly shifting gears. Comedy to horror works; horror to comedy does not. The Help early on does manage to convey the fear of being either an “uppity” black or a pro-civil rights white in the South of the early ’60’s. But the author throws that away by interjecting humor (childish, bad humor at that), starting with the fundraising gala. The book just loses all credibility at that point. The “dramatic” confrontation between Celia and Hilly at the gala is just silly and the Terrible Awful is ridiculous. While it was apparent that the Constantine story would have something to do with her daughter, the resolution of that plot line lacked all credibility — this is the early 60’s, not the late 60’s and the daughter came across as a Black Power radical about five years too soon (speaking of authenticity, no Jew would ever describe Christmas by saying “we call it Hanukah” as Stein did to Skeeter).

Also, the author’s treatment of Celia is puzzling, given that this is a book about prejudice and stereotyping. As written, Celia just confirms all cliches about poor, white trash — her brains are entirely in her boobs. I wanted to see Celia really see Hilly for what she was at the gala, not kiss her ass. Similarly, it is inconceivable to me that Skeeter would care for a nanosecond that Hilly and Elizabeth had dumped her — she had already moved far beyond them by that point.

Finally, and this may be a bit unfair, but my feeling all along while reading it is that this book was written forty years too late. One of the things that makes To Kill a Mockingbird so enduring is precisely that it was written at the time; as such it was a gutsy book to write, and the
