This book came to me in much better condition that it was stated. It did take the full 14 days to get to me but that is what it said it was going take. Guess I was getting spoiled by some of the others who sent the item so quickly. Would order from them again.
Friends at Thrush Green

The Help by Kathryn Stockett was one of the best-written books I have read in an age. Mindful of its hype, I stepped in hoping it would make a passable plane read. It certainly did. I read it in the 9 hours from Austria to Toronto. The vernacular of the two contrasting African American maids and the southern white woman who records their circumstances and stories is nothing short of amazing. Stockett permeates her book with a strong emotional conscious reflective of her own experience with her own maid. At once heart-warming, tragic and amusing, the book holds all the yo-yo ups-and-downs of real life. Moreover, it boasts a contextual relevance and inspires a frightening realization that the history so painfully rendered in the novel is not so far off.

Good Friends Come Along

I am A freshman in High school and I find that in this book they express alot of the things that I go though in everyday life. All the characters in the book are so unique that you can relate to one of them….don’t get me wrong the teenagers in this book are not perfect! I think that that is why I enjoyed the book. It’s not a fairy tale book. It’s actually one of the most realistic books I’ve ever read. The characters turn into your everyday friends. The football games, the meetings, the friendships, the relationships…They are all part of high school. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy this book. You can certainly learn alot from the characters by their mistakes or by their good judgement and the out comes.

I did some research on the available products. There was another model rated higher on consumer reports by the professionals but it was 100$ more. And it looked like the biggest difference was noise between the 2 models. OK…I’ll put in my earbuds and listen to music.

Having cleaned my atrocious carpet once already I will say this, I was totally amazed. It took repeated cleaning but I got it cleaner than I ever imaged I could! I couldn’t be happier.

Looking at the reviews on Consumer reports from people who bought this product over the higher rated product it was a near tie and again the price difference helped make my decision. I was ok paying more but I couldn’t find a compelling reason in the things I read that made a compelling case to do it.

My only concern is longevity, I bought the 3yr warranty so, I willhave a functional unit for at leastr that long. And let’s face it, the machine pays for itself after about 4-5 uses (if you rent).

After ordering three cables, I read the reviews more closely and got a little bit scared. They came faster than expected, and I replaced a Phillips $[...] 6ft HDMI cable from Walmart, with the $[...] cable. When I inspected the cable thru the bag, it had the HDMI logo on the connector, was gold plated, and also said it was 1.3b. All of this to me meant I got a decent cable. I hooked it up and the picture is great. So I got 3 for $[...] bucks to replace one overpriced cable. Im extremely happy!

Did A LOT of research before I chose this cleaner for my carpets. Very happy with the purchase. Easy to assemble and use. Sometimes can be tricky after cleaning the machine if you don’t get the bottom tank on correctly – then it will not produce any suction but it is an easy fix. Does a great job cleaning my carpets, especially since they need frequent cleanings with a dog and toddler!

Scott Kirsner’s “Fans, Friends and Followers” is just what the doctor ordered in this age in which everyone is trying to build an online presence. The book offers a number of solutions and angles for people to use when developing a fanbase and community around their work…whether they be an independent filmmaker, musician, blogger, podcaster, whatever. There is literally something for everyone in this book.

What I appreciate most about “Fans, Friends and Followers” is Scott’s broad range of knowledge, and his ability to quickly impart that information with specific examples, interviews, and case studies. Finally, there’s an excellent list of Supplemental Reading resources listed at the end of the book. This title is highly recommended.
