If I could rate this lower than one star, I would. This is a book for you girls under the age of 13.

My car’s dash is very curvy and the surface is not smooth so I decided the friction mount was probably the way to go. Once I was finally able to successfully attach the unit to the mount (you basically have to grit your teeth and force the cradle on to the ball of the mount); I could tell how convenient and user friendly this would be, as the unit swivels on the ball and adjusts up and down and side to side. I ended up placing it in a small space between the left to the driver’s seat area of the windshield and arched part of the dash over the speedometer, etc. instrumentation. It’s perfect there as I can easily glance at it (if necessary) without removing my eyes from the road for more than a split second. I’m very happy so far with this product!

The GO 930 hasn’t let me down in the six months that I’ve owned it. The 4.3 inch screen shows maps very crisply and the large size makes it easy to view directions while driving. The directions have been very accurate and I have not gotten lost once since owning it! I am most impressed with the IQ Routes feature, it gives the best shortcuts allowing me to not be stuck in traffic unnecessarily. This helps me cut down the time I am in the car. All in all, I am happy with the GO 930.

This switch has a very unusual method for connecting the speaker wires. You insert the stripped wire into a tiny chamber. Then you tighten a tiny phillips head screw to push a lid down to capture the wire. The product description states that it will accept wires up to 14 ga but I found that I needed to clip about 1/2 of the strands of my 14 ga wire to get it to go into the hole. The “clamping” action is not very secure and I have spent about 1/2 hour trying to get the wires clamped down without allowing the previously inserted wires to slip out–and I still haven’t been successful! This doesn’t include the time spent visiting the hardware store to purchase a ‘00′ size phillips screwdriver. In retrospect, I wish I had just bought a pair of DPDT toggle switches instead.

This is a good cleaner for the money. It does not have some of the convenience features of our last Hoover, but I believe the simpler mechanisms will hold up better. I looked at the higher end (double the price) Hoover, which had a high rating in Consumer Reports, but ultimately went with this much less expensive model based on customer reviews from this and other sites.

I actually found that this cleaner had good reviews at this site: “[...]” which summarizes reviews from multiple sites such as Amazon. Very helpful!

I have cleaned two rooms of carpet and it did a good job.

I purchased this reconditioned product. I was not told it had out of date maps which Tom Tom wants 96.00 to bring up to date. This is a rip off and Amazon should be ashamed.

The main character is Artemis Fowl 12-year-old boy is a cunning evil crook mastermind that won’t stop until he gets his hands on fairy gold. Another character is Captain Holly Short who is a magical elf on LEPrecon and has no time to “refuel” her magic so her magic is very weak.

The plan for Artemis is that he will take a fairy hostage for large sums of fairy gold! He is doing this evil mastermind scheme so that he can restore the Fowl’s family reputation and fortune.

The setting of the story takes place at a lot of different locations but mostly and the Fowl mansion and it goes on for a long 10 days.

The theme of this story I would say is probably thinking one step a head of your “opponent”.

I liked the story because you could never put the book down. It always kept you guess on what would the next step be for the LEPrecon force and how would Artemis react.

The southern vernacular that Stockett uses simply does not exist. I am a Southern black woman… Who speaks like this?? Who says “Law”, for “Lawd”. NOBODY.
I love the sound of Black folks speaking. Some of the words we use are just plain funny. But, Stockett has made a mockery out of a culture.
I am trying to make it through this book but I just can’t pick it up without cringing. Ironically, i recently had a conversation about Black dialect and dialouge. A young Black man felt offended by the vernacular language used in Daniel Black’s novel “They tell me of a home”.
I told him to not be offended, some Black people still speak that way.He should embrace it and speak in any manner he chooses. I told him to not judge them for their speech. The way people speak is not always an indication of intelligence. Maybe an indication of education level, though.
Anyway, The Help is horrible. If one is going ot tell a story, tell it right. It’s amazing that the White people in this book “don’t have no dialect”. The southern twang is still alive and kicking, why is it missing from this story.

Mildly competitive but without rancor! My wife of 52 years and myself are ball room dancers but get very little exercise beyond the Friday night dances. These games get us on our feet and moving while subtly trying to out perform each other. The motivation is still there to improve our scores and simultaneously our over all conditioning. Whether or not it will persist only time will tell.
