Kitchenaid Food Grinder Attachment

This little product almost brings tears to my eyes. My fiance brought his dog to our home with warnings of “She broke a Dyson vaccum, we have to vacuum daily, she sheds like crazy, there is ALWAYS hair someWHERE…”

This dog is an 80lb Shepherd mix and his shedding warnings were an understatement! After a year of Zoom Grooming, hours of brushing, frightening baths, and DAYS of vacuuming the back seat of my car even after it’s covered with a thick cotton rug–this little tool has ended my anguish and anxiety. *Sigh of Relief*

Hair drippage has been reduced DRAMATICALLY after 1 hour of serious work with it, followed by daily Furminating. She is sleek, shiny, and not shedding! Granted there is some hair here and there but not globs of hair bushes sprinkled about the house. I get emotional just thinking about the cleaning freedom! The poor dog was distressed even by the zoom groom but she is pleasantly surprised by the Furminator. She doesn’t flinch when we use it and she has expressed no discomfort at all! She is squeamish about all things related to grooming and would run even from the very gentle Zoom Groom!

The only downside–and I mean this is minute–is that the Furminator will find a LOT of hair and you need to be prepared with an adequate receptacle. We went wild using it in the backyard and bushels of her hair made its way back inside on the wind, our feet, and on cat/dog paws. It gathers the hair into fine bunches.

the garmin bean bag for its gps units is just perfect for the task. it’s generally overpriced but with the amazon price, it’s well worth considering. when you remove your gps as window breaking bait, there are no residual circles on your windshield nor evidence of the presence of the gps in the car. the removal of the gps from the dash could’t be easier and the stability of the unit on the dash has been perfect for me. this is the 3rd unit i have purchased. one for each of my two cars, and this new one was for my daughter along with her garmin as a bday present.

We have a short haired border collie/smooth collie mix. This gets a ton of loose hair out of her that we had no idea was there (until we saw it all over the couch). This is a MUST BUY for ANY dog owner. You’ll never know how much hair your dog sheds until you buy this.

I don’t want to waste anymore of my life on this book so my review will be brief. I do not understand the popularity of this book. It is poorly written. The characters and relationships portrayed are shallow, unhealthy, and annoying. The dialogue is insipid and embarrassing. I’m genuinely surprised that I suffered through to the end of it. There are SO many books that are more worthy.

Yes, i did heat up the water (not boiling hot) before putting it in the unit to start cleaning.
You DO have to be careful with the unit putting it together since the plastic is very flimsy which is a shame since it does the job and was very effective for the room and stairs i used it on. My unit did not come with the piece to clean out the suction area so i just unscrewed the cover off of it and washed it down.

Could this be better? absolutetly! but if you need one that will work this is the machine for you. I used it with the professional pet detergent. I did have leakage when i letthe unit stand upright while i used the stair hand held accessory but a small price to pay to get them clean. This still saves me money by not havingto call in the pros to clean and i don’t need an appt. I just wish they would improve on it.

I’d been using Office 2007 since I bought my new desktop three years ago, but I needed to buy another copy to put on my laptop. I thought I knew everything about the product, but little did I know that I would struggle with the packaging! And then be unable to find the registration key! And the CD didn’t install properly in my laptop! Fortunately, the laptop already had a trial version of Office installed–I just had to enter the key. And finally it worked, and it worked well. I like this version of Office a lot better than the old version (of which I was never a fan), but it did require a learning curve, and there are still things I have to search for occasionally. Overall, I’m happy with the product, and am interested to see what the 2010 version brings.
And I’m not really a kid, but I didn’t want to put my full name up, and Amazon doesn’t give the option to remove it.

definitely worth the investment since the included window mount is terrible. for $20 with amazon’s hassle free packaging, its a must!
