Before purchasing the Hoover Tempo Widepath, I spent a lot of time online researching vacuums. Fear of commitment, I guess. What made me finally choose this product was the price. I knew about some of the complaints about the short cord, short hose and that it doesn’t always pick up well on bare floors.
The shorter cord is not too much of an issue for me because we have a fairly small house. The hose does take some getting used to because I use that frequently. I do wish it was longer. And if it spits something back out on a bare floor, I just use the hose.

What I like about this vacuum, other than the great price, is how easy it is to manuever. I also like having a bagged vacuum again because I hate emptying a bagless. The suction is awesome and it picks up well along walls. Just don’t accidently run over the cord or a thin rug.
So far, I have been pleased with the Widepath.

I enjoyed this book but did not feel it quite lived up to the high ratings I based my purchase on. Part of its appeal was the promise of a circus story. And the story was very realistic in some ways, detailing how difficult and unrewarding (not to mention very dangerous)that life could be.

Some of the most interesting and moving parts of the book were actually those that took place in the nursing home that Jacob now lives in, remembering his youth with the circus. The author did a great job in describing the sadness, loneliness and other problems that befall the very aged. Especially those nearly forgotten by their families. Their cold treatment at the hands of people who barely see these elderly souls as human is all too real, having witnessed this myself when working in this type of facility. And another reason why I got out of nursing.

The love story was so-so, and years were wrapped up too quickly, at least for my taste. I looked forward to more stories of Jacob as the circus veterinarian. There was alot of potential there for interesting and moving stories about the animals, but that aspect was barely touched upon. Rather it was more about Jacob’s obsession with the beautiful Marlena.

I loved many of the interesting characters, but always felt I did not quite know them in spite of their frequent appearances throughout the story. Walter the dwarf as an example. He was one of my favorite characters. I found myself wanting more of his own story, but it wasn’t there.

I would recommend this as a light summer read, but would not look for more than an interesting diversion and brief look into the world of the circus folk when the animals were still transported by train and when the circus coming to town was the biggest news of the month.

I used to have an older hoover but the hoses went on it. This one is not nearly as heavy as the old hoover carpet cleaner. However, it does a very good job cleaning the carpets. Definitely better than the older hoover I had. I can see the difference right after I did the job.

Six of us used this scale, one after another. The scale was accurate to a 10th of an ounce!! And we all weighed 2 pounds less than on my old scale! Way to go EatSmart!! Great looking scale too!

I think that people who like exiting, adventurous, and action-packed books I strongly reomend this book. Artemis is the antagonist, he is smart, daring, and wily. Comander Root is the protagonist, he’s ruthless, tactful, vitriolic, and sinister. I realy enjoyed this book, this is the kind of book that makes you want to read, because how much you enjoy this book!

I have been buying eforcity cables for a couple years and have been very pleased with them…you can not beat the price and the quality is just as good as a high priced one……..i have right now 14 different cables from them on my systems i have sizes from 1 foot all the way to a 20 foot i run from my computer to my tv …so far i have not had to replace any cable that i have bought from them….. some are close to 2 years old and still are working just fine…so over all i myself cant say any thing but good a bought this company…they get 5 stars from me….

…this item only gets three stars, for two reasons. 1) The battery is supposed to last for up to 150 hours, but this one needs changing already although I haven’t used the light anywhere near that much. 2) The adjustment clasp doesn’t hold, meaning when you shorten the collar to the desired length, it creeps back to the full length within hours. I had to sew up both edges of the collar by hand.

I have a Wii Fit Plus and wanted the same for my older brother. Since he did not have the console yet, I had to find it first. I knew he would never buy one for himself, but he has loved it! His birthday is Feb. 15 and it took almost a month to find it in stock and at the right price.

The Kindle would be a more attractive eBook reader – if not for the fact that the iPad stole their thunder.

Kindle:
- Uses “digital ink” – basically a higher contrast monochrome display. Can’t be seen in darker situations.
- Activates display via buttons.
- Displays primarily text documents.
- Books can be “heard” through translation into text.
- Kindle limited to book applications.

iPad:
- High-contrast, color display is easy to read, night or day.
- Activates via touch display – more intuitive and simpler to use.
- Displays text, movies, video.
- Books can be acquired as an audiobook, as well as displayed text.
- iPad can be used to listen to mp3s, enter and read text, and play a variety of apps (many free).

In truth, it’s not fair to compare the Kindle and iPad – if only because they’re completely different devices. The iPad brings the eBook reader to a new level. If you get the chance, use both – and you’ll discover how the eReader has progressed.
