I’m not sure that I would go with a smaller version of this but the large works exactly the way they say it will. I have a large and a small dog and both of them sit very nicely while I groom them with the FURminator. It doesn’t look like it will work as well as it does but it removes a ton of hair from both dogs. It seems sturdy and so far has been the best investment that I’ve made in gromming tools yet. I would recommend this to anyone.

Although I’ve owned for only a couple of months, I would say that I am very pleased with my purchase. Exactly as advertised. I don’t normally use my GPS on a day to day basis and have used it for trips out of state and for new local destinations. It has performed flawlessly and others have commented positively as well. Aibileen is the central character, telling what it’s like to be a black maid in the deep South during the dawning of the Civil Right’s movement. Her “colored-speak” is lyrical, like a role she plays that sits outside her educated self, a decoy protecting her soul. The self-control she demonstrates, looking at her shoes, or turning to the sink instead of taking the bait of her oppressors teaches me I can hold my tongue more often than I do.

Minny, an outspoken maid, takes on chapters in her voice, different from Aibileen’s, and different from the “white lady” Skeeter’s–the 20-something aspiring author who collects the maids’ stories and sells the book manuscript to a New York publisher. Stockett shifts from one person’s view to another so clearly, the reader has more of a sense of watching a play than of reading a narrative.

When I can’t put down a book, when I get up in the night to read for an hour and a half, when I laugh and cry and am forever-changed by a book – deepened, enriched, better-informed – I love the experience; and I want you to have it, too.

I am an HP fan and also enjoyed the Septium Heap series. If you enjoyed those books you will like this one. I am in my 20’s and I am on my 5th Artemis Fowl book right now. Once you start the series you will want to keep reading. They dont get repetative or boring each book is a whole new experience and always adds new characters.

Love the Kindle – sure beats lugging books around on an airplane. Two drawbacks that I have: 1) The square joystick is awkward to use. 2) Can’t download to a printer the highlighted notes that you make while reading.

This brush was referred to me by a friend and I am more than pleased with the purchase. It does exactly what it says it will and is effective in reducing further shedding. While you cannot expect any amount of brushing to completely eliminate stray hairs around the house this brush will make a good start!
